Privacy Policy Reviewtivity:

Your Data Stays Yours

At Reviewtivity.com, we believe that the current state of the internet—filled with invasive tracking, aggressive data harvesting, and complex “shadow profiles”—is fundamentally broken. We built this platform to be a sanctuary for the savvy shopper.

Our privacy philosophy is simple: We cannot lose or sell what we do not have.

1. Our Commitment to Data Minimization

The cornerstone of Reviewtivity is a strict adherence to Data Minimization. This is the principle that a service should only collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to function.

The Reviewtivity Pledge: We do not store any cookies or personal information on our website.

Unlike 99% of the web, we have architected this site to function without “remembering” who you are. We do not use tracking pixels, we do not use “Like” buttons that ping social media servers, and we do not use invasive analytics suites that record your mouse movements or keystrokes.

2. No Cookies, No Tracking

Most websites use “cookies”—small text files stored on your browser—to track your habits, keep you logged in, or serve targeted ads.

Reviewtivity.com does not use cookies.

  • No Session Cookies: We do not track your movement from page to page.
  • No Persistent Cookies: We do not recognize your device when you return to our site.
  • No Third-Party Tracking Cookies: We do not allow advertisers to “drop” cookies on our domain to follow you across the web.

When you browse Reviewtivity, you are essentially invisible to us. We see that “a user” visited a page, but we have no technical means (and no desire) to know which user it was.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

To be explicitly clear for the purposes of international data laws (such as GDPR in Europe and CCPA in California), Reviewtivity does not collect, store, or process the following:

  • Identity Data: Names, usernames, or social security numbers.
  • Contact Data: Physical addresses or phone numbers.
  • Financial Data: We never ask for credit card numbers or banking information.
  • Biometric Data: No facial recognition or fingerprint data.
  • Behavioral Data: We do not build profiles based on which reviews you read or which coupons you click.

4. The One Exception: Voluntary Communication

The only time we ever interact with your personal information is when you choose to give it to us via direct email.

If you send an inquiry to admin@reviewtivity.com, we will see your email address and any name associated with it.

  • Storage: This information stays within our encrypted email service provider solely for the purpose of replying to you.
  • No Database: We do not “scrape” these emails to build a marketing database.
  • Right to Erasure: If you email us and later want that conversation deleted, simply ask. We will purge the thread immediately.

5. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Brand Sites

This is the most important section for our users to understand. When you click a “Get Deal” button or a link to a brand (e.g., Nike, Amazon, Samsung, etc.), you are leaving the Reviewtivity “Privacy Bubble” and entering a third-party domain.

How it Works:

  1. The Link: When you click an link, it contains a unique tracking ID. This ID tells the merchant, “This visitor came from Reviewtivity.”
  2. The Merchant’s Cookies: Once you land on the merchant’s website, they will likely drop a cookie on your browser. This is how they know to credit us if you make a purchase.
  3. Their Policy: From the moment you leave our URL, the privacy policy of the destination site takes over. We have no control over how Apple, Dell, or any other brand handles your data.

We strongly encourage you to read the privacy policies of the brands you shop with.
